Ritavrat Joshi is an Environmental Engineer by profession with a Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy Engineering. With a career spanning over 12 years, he has been working in different NGOs, INGOs, UN bodies, Universities and commercial entities in the field of climate change adaptation/mitigation, renewable energy technology design and implementation, WASH and cross-sectoral research projects.
His expertise includes RET system design, survey design, digitization and automation, masterplan development (WASH/ Energy) at the municipal and provincial level, environmental impact studies (ESIA/IEE/EIA/ESMP), DFS, FS, project management and reporting, research design, M&E, data cleaning & analysis, field mobilization, policy advocacy, training development and delivery, geo-tagging & mapping and overall technical writing.
His software proficiencies include AutoCAD, GIS, KoBo, Excel coding, Python, ODK, nWASH, mWATER, BAT, Bottleneck analysis tool, MEP tool, CATIA, SPSS, MS Office package, DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Indesign/Photoshop/Imageready, ELS, RAIHN, LEMS, Round Robin and MATLAB. Within BEEN, he is working as a Senior Program Officer.
