Michael Strobel is the Project Manager and Junior Scientific Researcher at the Universität Innsbruck (UIBK). He is an energy and building physics engineer, with knowledge of renewable energies, especially focusing on solar thermal systems. His main fields of activity are RES and waste heat recovery technologies, energy concepts for industry and buildings and systems simulations. He is also experienced in solar cooling systems.
He did his Bachelor’s in Climate Engineering from Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences, Germany and Masters in Energy, Building Services and Environmental Engineering from Leipzig University of Applied Sciences, Germany. Currently, he is a Ph.D. candidate at the Universität Innsbruck, Austria.
Within BEEN project, he is a Building Simulation & Energy Expert, and performs building simulations and identifies measures for climate-adapted building designs.
