Usha Maskey Manandhar, with a Master Degree in Sustainable International Development from USA, has over twenty-five years of active work experiences in projects aimed at ethical labour management, sustainable livelihoods, climate change mitigation & adaptation, energy, WASH and building construction sectors. Her responsibilities in the BEEN project include facilitating engagement, collaboration and capacity building of government entities at federal and local levels to develop and adopt enabling policies. Upon her long-term experiences of working with private sector (primarily small and medium enterprises), she contributes in designing and managing interventions to enlarge market share of the energy efficiency and renewable energy integration in building sector in the BEEN project. Utilising her project management experiences, she is supporting in designing and implementing the monitoring and evaluation mechanism of the BEEN project. With her expertise and extensive experiences, she ensures to integrate the Gender Equality and Social Inclusion (GESI) considerations in the BEEN activities.
