University of Innsbruck (UIBK) is the lead partner of the project. The team consists of experts in the area of solar energy, renewable energy, HVAC, system integration and optimization as well as information specialists and didactic, education and training experts. UIBK will particularly bring-in technical expertise in HVAC and quality assurance and accountability of results & technical expertise in HVAC.
Dr. Daniel Neyer, BEEN Project Manager/ University of Innsbruck (UIBK) oversees the overall project. UIBK represents a well-balanced and experienced team. Two professors with vast experience in technical sciences, teaching and development of adapted university and training courses around the world will monitor project progress internally. They will also support/supervise the coordinator and the entire project team accordingly. The team consists of experts in the area of solar energy, renewable energy, HVAC, system integration and optimization as well as information specialists and didactic, education and training experts. UIBK will particularly bring-in technical expertise in HVAC while overseeing all the other technical aspects of the project.
MinErgy, based in Nepal, has its long-standing experiences in supporting MSMEs to adopt cost-effective and EE brick and block production process as well as policy influence to integrate application of EE walling techniques (e.g. Rat-Trap Bond) in the government guideline. Working relationship with more than 10 municipalities, MinErgy has been able to institutionalize RE promotion within the municipality structures. A team of enthusiastic, highly motivated and qualified professionals in technical and social dimensions with entrepreneurship spirit drives MinErgy to avail services nationally and internationally on energy-efficiency, renewable energy as well as environmentally sound, cost-effective and socially responsible technologies and approaches. The MinErgy team holds a wide range of diverse knowledge and experiences with proven skills in organization, leadership, project designing, planning, management and ability on financial management, coordinating and reporting.
Greentech Knowledge Solutions (GKSPL) is based in New Delhi, India and has long-standing experience in building energy efficiency and building sector MSMEa. Over the last decade, GKSPL has managed and executed Indo-Swiss BEEP, a bilateral programme for building energy efficiency. Under this programme the first energy conservation building code for residential buildings in India was developed and launched in 2018, which also involved carrying out around 40,000 simulations. It has experience of providing technical support in the design of more than 40 EE building projects. It has been involved in planning and conducting performance monitoring of buildings. GKSPL has imparted training to more than 5000 building MSMEs during the last decade. GKSPL is also acknowledged as one of the leading groups in the developing world in the field of resource-efficient brick production and has long experience of working in Nepal. The team consists of architects, building simulation experts, building policy and building material experts.

It has also a long track in international cooperation activities in developing countries to support their use of industrial standards and strengthening their structure of industrial quality and safety.
