BEEN Project in partnership with Gharapjhong Rural Municipality, successfully conducted a 3-day training on Energy-Efficient Building Design for municipal technical staff and design MSMEs. Participants explored practical strategies for designing buildings tailored to Gharapjhong’s cold climate zone and learned how to implement Energy Efficiency Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within the municipal system. On the final day of the training, an orientation session was conducted for all technical units and participants on the integration of the solar thermal heating system and energy-efficient technologies implemented at the municipality office under the BEEN Project’s technical assistance.
